Chinese-Taipei Gearing up for the Worlds
Chinese Taipai is arguably the Asian IIHF member that has made the fastest progress with its ice hockey program in recent years. Last year, the U18 team entered Division III in Mexico and caught everybody's surprise by beating all their opponents (including New Zealand) but the host nation. One month later, the senior team won the official IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia. In less than two weeks, Chinese-Taipei will host the World Championship (U18 Div. III) for the first time ever.
