For the second straight year Iptameni Athens won the Greek hockey championship. In the round robin and the playoff round, Iptamenoi was perfect 9 for 0 and outscored its opponents 98:5.
The Greek Championship was decided on the last day in the playoff round when Iptamenoi beat PAOK 4-1. Iptameni scored 3 unanswered goals early in the game and with George Fiotakis hot under the pipes, had no trouble winning the Championship undefeated once again.
For the record, Iptameni was the only team of the playoffs that hadn't transferred any new players for this season. On the other hand 10 players transferred to other teams from Iptameni. 4 went to PAOK and 6 to Tarandos. Also it was the only team of the playoffs that didn't have any foreign players in it's roster.
The Iptameni Captain, George Kalyvas, was named MVP of the Championship, George Fiotakis won Best Goalie and Dimitris Kalyvas took home the Top Scorer award. From PAOK, Nikos Papadopoulos won best defenseman and George Adamidis the fair play award.
