Six teams participated in a very unbalanced league with lots of lopsided results. The league was split right down in the middle between two uneven groups: one the one hand, Polis Akademisi, Kocaeli B.B. Kagit and Baskent Yuldizlari and, on the other, Istanbul Paten, Anka SK and B.B. Ankara. B.B. Ankara, the former dominant club of Turkish ice hockey with seven championship, finished last in the regular season with one victory in ten games and a negative goal difference of 118 (an average of about 12 per game).
Kocaeili won the regular season thanks to a victory over Polis Akademisi in the last round. The playoffs took place at the Bel-Pa Ice Rink in Ankara, two and a half week after the regular season had finished. Four teams qualified for the playoffs, namely the three aforementioned teams of the strong group and Istanbul Paten of the weak group. The semifinals between (#1) K.B.B. Kagit and (#4) Istanbul Paten proved as expected to be no contest. Kagit won the two games with the aggregate score 54-0. The semifinal between Polis Akademisi and Baskent looked on paper to be much more interesting as Baskent had beaten the reigning champion 11-6 in round 9, a few weeks before the playoffs. In the semifinals, however, Polis Akademisi ruled supreme and skated to two easy victories with a combined score of 20-4. In the finals that took place on 20 and 21 March, Polis Akademisi also put things straight by beating K.B.B. Kagit twice with the combined score 22:9.
The four individual awards were split between Polis Akademisi and K.B.B. Kagit. Kagit's Serkan Gümüs received the award as the MVP of the league, while Yusuf Halit was honoured as the best defenseman. Polis Akademesi's Paul Frano was honoured as the best forward while Ömer Aybers received the award as best goaltender.
