The twice retired legendary goaltender, Dominik Hasek (44) can't get enough of hockey. Now it's time for his third coming and its nothing less than sensational. Next season, Hasek will return to the Czech Republic and his mother club, Pardubice, where it all got started,.
After another season without hockey, the six times Vezina trophy winner, is hungry for more, and despite his high age he has had no troubles finding a club. According to Idnes.cz, Hasek has received offers from Sparta Praha and Avangard Omsk, among others, but has decided to return to his native club, Pardubice.
"To me everything is set", says Vladimir Pitter,chairman of the board of HC Pardubice, "Hasek is going to play here next season. This is a tremendously big hockey news for Pardubice".
Hasek is expected to announce his decision officially tomorrow. |
