AFAIK, in most European leagues it's 5 + Game for Fighting, and sometimes a suspension as well.

In the Elite League here, they don't even call penalties for Fighting, they just call 2+2 for...

They did change it, last year/season, I believe. It is no longer called the 'East Coast Hockey League'. It's simply the 'ECHL' (meaning that the letters don't actually stand for anything anymore).
