Germany In Memory: Center Herbert Schibukat(1914-1999)

My Favourite Player is Herbert Schibukat.

The Club was SV Rastenburg/former Germany, 1934 first Assist against a Friendlygame with Rastenburg angainst Union Riga(1:1) with 1000 viewers

Since 1935 German National Player (WM Goal against Polen), Most goals(2)as a Center in the German Team by Olympia 1936 (Goals against Great-Britain and Italia)

    1937 in Liga(East-Prussia) with a 7 Goal game aginst Blau-Weiss Königsberg

Since 1941, in addition to the SV Rastenburg also in the selection of national players in club-red-white Berlin.

After the war with other homless Rastenburger Players in Bad Nauheim, and as Defender German Champion with Preußen Krefeld 1951 and in the Olympic Team in Oslo 1952(with Age 37 !!!)

46 international games and 9 goals.

He was next to the still known today as Gustav Jaennicke and Rudi Ball exceptional striker of the German Hockey

After years of research I hope to soon have a Documentation on the Hockey East Prussia in 1945 to be able to bring out, then there is also a statistics section with its extra doors in the Games before 1945

    @jEFF m

    Thank you

The last Game from Schibukat in the War, was the Game on the German Championsship:
    1944(The Month ??)
    Rot-Weiss Berlin - Düsseldorfer EG 2:2 (0:2/1:0/1:0)
    Goals: Schibukat(2)

His first Goal at the Olympictournament 1936 at the Game Germany-Italia 3:0, comments the Eastprussia Newspaper "Königsberger Allgemeine Zeitung" on 9.2.1936:

"Schibuakt the East Prussian whirlwind shot the first goal popped the disk of high steep angle to the iron post, from where it bounced into the net"

    Germany-Italien 3:0
at his Time, young Age: 21 Years

    More on my Book
    Greetings from Germany
