    Ice Rinks in Turkey

    Hi Everyone,
I am going on holiday to Turkey (Marmaris) in August...

Could anyone tell me if there are any ice rinks over there?

    Also,
I would be interested in watching any hockey if there is any..

    Any info would be great.

    Thanks

will not be any hockey in august..and in marmaris you will probably not find a rink since its in northern turkey the teams exist.

I'm pretty tired of all these small and closed rinks all over the country.

Can we all agree that Turkey has 8 full-size Rinks :-)

    Three arenas in Erzerum
    Two arenas in Izmit
    One in Ankara
    One in Izmir
    One in Istanbul

Please any comments on that? is there any more Full-sized Rinks that i cant find (i dont belive so) :-) ??????? let us finally find that out :-)

I believe it's been found out, if you want a list of rinks in Turkey, you can look here.

There's really no need to post the same message with nearly identical text in every country's forum.

only one of three existing hockey arena in Erzerum is on shown at hockeyarenas.net but they use pictures from 2 different arenas on that one. hockeyarenas.net is a joke , thay also listed non existing arenas. closed arenas, very small skating rinks without a rink in every country,, excuse me for trying to make an real list :-)

Have you considered sharing information with Dan and Ray, who are basically running that page as a hobby, with what information they can find in any number of locations.

That's as comprehensive a listing of rinks the world over as I've found, so instead of criticising and attacking them, perhaps you could share what you know and make it better.

Al I did was asking a simple question, and you sharply attacked me, I have the right to just ask a question,

and I don't have any problem with Dan and Ray, its just that I still think hockeyarens.net is poor. that's only my opinion. but lets cut this please , i just asked a question if you don't want to answer it, maybe someone else can :-)

If you think it is poor, then why not help them out? One email will solve a lot of your issues.

Technically, Istanbul has 2 rinks, both are at the same location.
