    1998 held in Gulmarg (Jammu& Kashmir)
    Winner:- J&K red and services (Army Team) it was joint winner.

    Runner:- no one

    Bronze:- J&K Blue.

    2000:- Held in Shimla (in Himachal pradesh)

    Winner:- Again Joint winner J&k red and Services.

    Rimo clu holt the Senior Inter Club Titel

    :) Rimo Club bags Ice Hockey title

    JAMMU, Jan 23: Rimo Club Leh bagged the senior inter-club Ice Hockey tournament 2006 beating Skara Club by four goals to three in the final, which was played at water logged ground of Forest Department at Guphooks, 7 kilometers from Leh.

    The tournament was organised by Ladakh Winter Sports club (LWSC). Besides Ice Hockey, figure skating and speed events were organised for both male and female ice skaters. Mohd Ijaj was declared best player while Thiksay team won the best disciplined team trophy.

    Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Leh, Tsering Dorjey was chief guest. Those prominent among others were Executive Councilors Education, Tsewang Rigzin and Executive Councilor Health, Dorjey Mutup.

    After giving away prizes to the winners, the chief guest said that the Hill Council Leh is contemplating a comprehensive plan to construct an Ice Hockey rink of international standard at Leh. The site for the rink has been identified and funds are available for the same, he added.

    President of LWSC, Noney Wangchok in his welcome address, gave detail resume of the club and said that many Ladakhi winter sports persons have represented the Nation.

    To play the game as per international standard, the Club has used the services of a coach from America this year, especially for those young players, he informed

    Army red the new champion of India

    :) Army Red lifts Ice Hockey trophy



    LEH, Jan 31: Army Red defeated J&K Blue by a solitary goal to lift the Ice Hockey Championship, the final of which was played at Biamathang Ice Hockey rink at Kargil today.

    The Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil, Haji Asgar Ali Karbalaie was the chief guest on the concluding function. Among others present on the occasion were Executive Councilors Naseer Hussain Munshi, Haji Mohammed Ishaq, Kachoo Gulzar Hussain Khan, Councilors, Deputy Commissioner/CEO Kachoo Isfandiyar Khan, SSP Kargil Danish Rana and other senior civilian and Army officials.

    In his brief address, Haji Karbalaie said that holding of Ice Hockey Championship will boost the young boys and girls ice hockey skaters of the district.

    hi Kunzang - are there any photos of Indian clubs' hockey sweaters? I think it would be interesting to see
