Rather interesting start to the semis so far, after 40, both the road clubs, both the underdogs and both clubs who havent won a match against their counterparts are leading, Épinal up on Angers 3:2 and Briançon 4:2.

Great bounce back match for Angers and was very entertaining as well, great tip from Albert to win the match. If only Épinal was playing for Rouen I could cheer for them, Girard has seemed to found his form again. Look forward to seeing him grow and perhaps in a French jersey at some point.

I really wish though Angers would keep track of attendance, they have to either sell out or come very close to it every match, great fan support from them.

Both the favourites show why they are, Rouen was trailing by 2 goals in the 3.period came back to win in overtime while Épinal lost control of a 3 goal lead. I really wish the Rouen v Briançon was being broadcasted, they have seem to have great battles.

As for Épinal, they started out so great, they played solid defence, Girard was playing steller and they took advantage of all their chances, however one Angers started to come back they really fell apart. Especially Girard, he cant be giving up the goals he is at this level and I know he is still very young and Angers is extremely well this year but those are simple saves. I dont want to sound hard on the kid because I like him, he just needs to learn what it takes to play pro ice hockey. Still impressed with the young man.

Rouen returns to the Finals for the 4th straight season looking for their 4th title in as many years. Briançon gave them a good run however Rouen is just too strong and let see if they can keep this run going. Somebody has to stop them sooner or later.....right?

So here we go, the battle between Rouen and Angers, the most dominate club in the regular season against a club defending their titles. Angers won the season series 2-0, defeated Rouen to advance to Coupe de France finals and split their series in Coupe de la Ligue because Rouen won the finals via a 2 goal comeback in the last five minutes of the match. Now, can Rouen continue their dominance over France or does Angers capture their first ever league title.

Finals are best of 7, Rouen looks for their 13th Ligue Magnus title and 4th straight en-rout to catching Chamonix for most ever titles in France, currently at 23. Angers is looking for their 1st ever league title and 3rd overall.

Yeah, Ligue Magnus does nice job for free simple broadcasts. Haha do not cheer for Rouen, cheer for them when you visit but Angers in finals!!! :D Though I am kind of interested to see just how long they can dominate the league, they have been racking up the trophies for awhile now.

This has been good match though, just hope Angers can turn it around for 3.period.

Damn, a good first match to start the finals but Rouen takes it to steal a win on the road. Back again tomorrow, Angers needs a win. I dont like their chances if they have to go into Rouen down 2 matches already.

Damnit Angers, play a good match, have two goal lead and then comes Rouen, the difference between a club who has been here before and a club who hasnt. The Walls go from Belanger was such nice passing play though. The worst part is Rouen wasnt even at the top of their game tonight and they still got the win, going to Rouen its not looking good.

    Back again on Friday.

Rouen really stepped it up today and this is the part the makes me nervous. Heading back to Angers tied at 3, I dont have that much confidence they will be able to hold it together while the experience from Rouen will push them through. Really, really hope Im wrong, so excited for Tuesday.

    NOOOOOOO, damnit, ****, ****, ****, noooo Angers. :(

Rouen captures their 4th straight title, 13th overall Ligue Magnus title. As disappointed as I am, Rouen deserves the title, they are such an outstanding club and deserve every title they capture. Was such a great final though, back and forth, full of great plays and a great battle between two clubs who formed a nice rivalry throughout the season. Only thing to wish for now is Angers retools and comes back at them again.

Rouen once again has a trophy filled season, 3/4 titles, gaining Match des Champions over Dijon, Coupe de la Ligue and Ligue Magnus both over Angers.

Angers had two chances to close it out but couldn't; full credit to Rouen. They are a dynasty now in French hockey.

Angers gave it a go in Game 7 with that late comeback, but ultimately came up one goal short.

Now let's see Rouen play an NHL team in the preseason or go play the Spengler Cup!
