Russian Player fights the Referee... Really.

A Russian ice hockey player knocks the referee over after he called a hooking penalty. So the referee drops his helmet and whistle then jumps on the player. Then kicks him out of the game.

Sure is hobby league or not. I've seen it happen in German and Finnish games too. I'm sure it happens in any hobby/beer type league regardless of the country!

Its the first video ive came across where the referee has actually went for the player though.

    Their teams website is "http://www.hcmeteor.ru/".

So, it is just a recreational team.. Still, never seen this in rec hockey in the UK, although heard of a few incidents.

You get bans for fighting in rec hockey in the UK, not sure how long the ban would be for fighting a ref. Might be forever haha.

Hmmmm... A coach vs ref.. I've seen benches and bottles thrown at the referee (Rob Wilson - Newcastle Vipers) but havent seen a coach punch a ref...
