    1973 - Montréal upsets Chicago

Anyone here answering Montréal AAA (last won 1903) or Winnipeg Victorias (last won 1902) - and can verify it, I will personally buy you a drink of your choice! :005:

As a life long Habs fan, I'm glad to see they won the year I was born.......but I cringe at the thought of who won during the season I was born...Boston.

    1971 Montreal 4 games to 3 Chicago

The year and season are different, but oddly enough the same team won...very odd considering which team and their recent performance...

    Year - Toronto Maple Leafs
    Season - Toronto Maple Leafs

I guess that tell everyone how old I am within a year. Guess which year I was born in.

The 1973-74 Flyers became the first expansion team to capture the Cup, playing the bruins. would have been nice to be old enough to remember that series.

i'm slightly confused by this list...
If a club changed its name (i.e. Toronto Arenas/St Pats/Maple Leafs are all teh same club, with different nickname), shouldn't there just be one option for all of them?
    Ditto Ottawa Silver Seven/Senators...?
