Bozen has added more players: forwards David Civitarese (24, NCAA and ECHL/AHL) and John Esposito (21, NCAA DI) are dual-nationals and will try out for a contract. Centerman Rick Schofield (26, Rochester Americans) was signed definitely.

Graz 99ers have also signed another player, former Swedisch international Jari Tolsa (FIN/SWE dual nat) is coming from Frölunda Gothenburg.

HC Bozen completes the forwards' department by signing AHLer Mathieu Beaudoin (Rockford).

Graz 99ers land a potentially big transfer hiring defenseman Alexandre Picard from Lev Prague. Picard missed out most of last season due to a shoulder injury but should that have healed properly his resume (250 NHL games in the last 7 seasons) suggest he should be one of the league's outstanding players. This signing is most likely the result of businessman Herbert Jerich (owner of an eponymous logistics company) supporting the 99ers. Jerich was also instrumental in getting Thomas Vanek playing for his home town club during the lock-out last year.
