    Questions Extra column in table BBCode

    Hi,
    I have noticed for a while now that every time I create a table it adds an extra column even though I havent asked it too...

    I.e. every year I create a thread for the following Elite League season, and I always include a league table. Here is the exact code which I used on the main thread and you will see it has an extra column at the beginning.

    The table looks like this:

    ^
    ||
    ||
    The code tags must have been disabled, so click "quote" to view the code I have used. Can anyone see why this is happening? Is this only happening to me on my browser or is it doing the same for you?

    I have used "browsershots.org" and it is doing the same on all of those browsers, so I'm guessing it isnt that.

    Does anyone know how I can avoid this?

    Cheers

    Its not only you because I can see it as well and I tried messing around with your code I cant seem to find where the extra column is coming from. Perhaps Graham has the answer but if it bothers you, take the code from one of the thousand of tables I have, mine dont have the extra column and they are a little more "clean."

    I'm getting a little closer...

    TR = Row
    TD = Column

    Is that correct? Or am I going loopy?

    I'm missing something haha

    Wow, great... Cheers.

    I have read the code, how is that working? There isnt any tr / td code?

    Also,
    I should be able to use this code: [table align =center] or [table=width:200px;margin:0 auto;] to chose the positioning of the table.

    But this doesnt work.. I am assuming this has disabled by Graham or another site manager.. is this correct? or have I got the code wrong.

    Thanks again

    I do my tables like Starkovs too... It is an extension/option in vBulletin to make creating tables easier. Simply put | between columns and start new rows on a new line.
