From my NA point of view, all the advertising is not esthetically pleasing to say the least.
the referees jerseys are the funniest and maybe the most shocking...a cow? Really? Yes, I know, its a milk advertizement, but c'mon.

    Genéve-Servette - Canada 2-0 after 1st

Again what a great period of Hockey! Canada really didn't have any chances except Pouliot's half one in early stages. Inti Pestoni dangled his way to center and shot it to make 1-0. Lombardi took a penalty for Delay of Game. He hold the puck in his glove too long. Genéve killed it and shortly after that, Lombardi shot took a high bounce and when it landed, Tom Pyatt swung it in!

    Geneve-Servette - Canada 5-3 after 2nd

What a crazy period! Romain Loeffel made it 3-0 on a shot from the blue. Taylor Pyatt and Timothy Kast screened McIntyre so well and the shot was diamond. 4-0 was a weird one! Bouillon tried to dump it, but immediately hits Almond's foot and so it deflected in. McIntyre thought the puck rolled behind the net, but went trough his legs! :D Lombardi took an another penalty, so Canada had a chance. Well, Rubin's perfect pass and Kast was 1on1 with McIntyre, he roofed it. 5-0. Sheesh. On the same PP Pouliot got Canada to the board. Soon after that Parent's absolute blast to far top corner! 5-2. We have a game! And in the last minute of period, Samson's backhand squeezes through Schwendener's five hole. Just wow.

Canada changed goalie, so Schaefer is in Canada's net now. Kast scored 5-0 behind him.

Canada dug itself a big hole midway through the game, down 5-0.
They fought back gamely but in the end lost 6-5 and once again missed the final.
I came home only to catch the post game handshakes and Canadian coach Guy Boucher making a beeline for the refs.
The look on his face could kill and he pointed his finger at the ref and yelled 'you're an idiot'...something really ticked him off.

Surprised to see Ufa in the final after an average tournament......Davos, meanwhile, had looked very good the entire time and I thought was a near lock to make the final.

Big, tough and heavy SERVETTE with a good SCHWENDENER 2-0 end of second. Can they win their second strait?

Davos crowd are a sleepy bunch. We need the AMBRI fans in there. If it would not be for ITCH it would sound like a cathedral.

    Salavat Yulaev Ufa - Geneve-Servette 0-2 after 2nd

Ufa's stupid penalties are costing badly for them. Jacquemet's shot was too good for Irving. Them, during they're second PP Cody Almond turned it to back post where Daniel Rubin was ready to tuck the puck in. Looks Mike Ufa is creating a deep hole for themselves. Last period of Spengler Cup this year coming up next! Will Ufa come back despite conceding ny two or will Geneve roll to they're second title in a row?
