No. "Lada" is a Soviet car from Tolliatti where HC Lada is based http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lada
But Lada is name of slavic goddess of summer.

Soviet? At least they still exist. Though their team in the FIA World Touring Car Championship isn't doing terribly well. Its good to see Lada back in the top "Russian" league again with their new arena.

That's sad to read! It seems they are cursed with bad luck. I'm not usually one who supports that traditional teams should be kept alive, if they fail, they fail but come on, it's Spartak Moscow! They can't just vanish from existence. Help them out Putin! I think he'd make a good hockey owner anyway.

Well Im happy it is a translation error. I don't think having the team name of 'Harmony' would be very wise.

    Great they are back though!

Here's list of all confirmed transfers so far (some qualificational contracts are also included) with player profiles from eliteprospects - it's in Croatian but I believe it's not difficult to understand it correctly. The list is updated on daily basis.

    You mean Dinamo Medvescak Minsk!

A few seasons back one of Minsk head coaches got fired for having a 'too North American style' this year they are going very North American, will be interesting to see if they get the results Medvescak did.
