Here, I will invent a term: She is "cautiously ecstatic." LOL. Ecstatic, but she'll believe it when it really happens.

Wang has been to the Islanders what Harold Ballard was to the Leafs and Bill Wirtz to the Hawks.
    No wonder she's ecstatic.

I have to agree with Heatleysucks there. He became part-owner in 2000 and it wasn't until 2006 that he fired Mike Milbury. During that time he gave the green light to the Yashin and DiPietro contracts. None of that screams hockey sense.
Bringing ice hockey to Northwest China!

The Dipietro contract actually would have been genius had DP not gotten injured during the 2008 All Star Game weekend. His play on a weak team had made him an NHL All Star, and he suffered what was essentially a career ending injury. Had he not done so, the Isles would have had him locked up for his career at $4.5 million per year. They just got unlucky. The bigger issue is why they ever got him in the first place, when they could have kept Luongo and drafted Gaborik or any number of other excellent forwards who were available in that draft.

Wang was loyal to Milbury to a fault, and has been loyal to Snow to a fault.....those are his two biggest failings as Isles owner.
