    Comments:

The Danish roster holds few surprises with 13 returnees from the 2014 IHWC’s.

Of the euro based players, KHL’ers Philip Larsen, Patrick Bjorkstrand, Linköping’s Nichlas Hardt and Captain Morten Green won’t be playing.

In their absence, the less experienced Felix Scheel and Bjørn Uldall have been given the chance and veterans Daniel Nielsen (opted out), Mads Bødker (suspended) and Kirill Starkov (suspended) have also returned to the team.

Veteran Kim Staal has also been given time off, due to the long travel time it would require of him from Japan.

Two Latvian players from the Danish league this time: Ervīns Muštukovs & Lauris Bajaruns!

Otherwise for the Danish team doesn't have any real surprises (except Bjørn Uldall as new in defense), though I think it weird that Nikolaj Rosenthal again is left out.
But the Norwegian team seems to be favourites with this number of SHL players they can ice.

Uldall was included in the roster for the EIHC back in January, but had to sit out due to an injury.

Still interesting enough, that Overmark , Grønvaldt and Rasmus Nielsen(later called up to replace Daniel Nielsen) were left out, while Uldall was named from the start.

Though, since we don’t have a lot of options at the backend, you might as well get some of the younger d-men involved.

Also, without putting too much into the selection of goaltenders, it looks like Dahm will have a legitimate shoot at moving up the depth chart this season.

As for Rosenthal, hopefully he will get the chance at some point, still it’s a numbers game and looking at the lineup for tomorrow‘s game, Spelling is the only player from the domestic league playing in the top-9.

So Norway won the tournament as I expected with their roster, but good to see that the Danish NT actually can win over Norway once in a while (though they were totally outshot)!
