Thank you Snapshot. Really looking forward.

Serbia U20 beat a combined Partizan and Beostar (both teams seniors) team a couple a Days ago in a preparation game with 7:6. The combined team was stregthened with Ukranian intenational Gnitko and his Czech colleague Kinkor- both propably the best players in the domestic Championship. The result is a bit promsing.

Yet I Think Vlad Tver is close to the truth.

Unfortunaetly he is....but no way I will write his name....

plissken - Gjoni is having mononuclyeousis (spelling ?). He is recovering well, but he is simply in no game shape as he played his last game at the end of September.

Spain looks quite impressive in this tourney as have croatia (who are missing their best player due to illness).

Should come down to the final game between croatia and Spain .

Not very much on topic admittedly but I have to mention that the ice arena in Jaca is an awesome building. Absolutely fantastic architecture.

Croatia is not looking very convicing right now. I mean, this team as U18 group won 2nd place in 2013. in D2A. As it looks of now Spain has realistic chance against Croatia. They looked more dangeours against Serbia than we did.

I believe that's croatias defense is far superior to Spain's
And that should clinch it for the croatians

Matija milicic sure has nice hands for big guy he should be honing his skills in North America .

Croatia has the best goalie and two scoring lines. Spain could make trouble in the last game but I expect from Croatia's coach to "shorten the bench" and use his class players to overcome the hosts.

Spain - Croatia for me very though game, I think result will be 3-3 and overtime win for Croatia.
Belgium - Serbia, another one game with similar strenght, I predict Belgium win 4-3 in normal time.
Australia-Iceland, I think, today it will be first win for Iceland.

Croatia didn't dominate as I expected, but then again maybe they were playing just as much as needed to win the games.

Congratulations to Croats, I watched some games and they fully deservedly going up to higher rank D2a. I think that this success belongs to EBYSL league where young talent can improve hockey skills.

Serbia with staying in Serbian league (and leaving Slohokej) goes lower and lower. Many years I warned and talked about that but main people (like some stupid heads) thinking that playing only in Serbian league is quite enough for the success. Very soon we may expect that all Serbian selections fall to the lowest levels. Serbian league is not enough for anything better than entertainment.

In his story about the appearance of Serbian hockey players the strongest Sport newspaper published an title: "5th place is the premium". Not much far from the truth.

    Edit:
I forgot this: last year Dragan Dan Kesa came from Canada, invested great enthusiasm, money and passion to organize and lead the junior categories .. but something was not suitable for Serbian Federation, clubs, and of course Kesa left the Serbian national team.

Few years ago, Alex Andjelic was beaten, in the locker room, when he was attacked by a parent because his son did not play in team lines... and of course Andjelic also left the team.
