    What...the...****

I know I said last year that Austria has been a torn in the side for the Danes, despite that the Danes have emerged as a promotion candidate while Austria has been a relegation candidate but wow, Austria just beat down Denmark. There kind of goes any of my hope we could avoid relegation, the French look too strong if they are taking points from the Norwegians.

I dont know if use playing the Danes tomorrow is a good thing or bad. Either the Danes will be pissed off they got embarrassed and just kill us or they will keep playing so poor. Latter please!

Where the hell did this version of the Austrian team come from, have already taken down two of the promotion candidates. Have time to rest up before they take on the favourites in Czech Republic, take down all three and I cant see them not promoting.

Well this is certainty a huge surprise, a very welcomed one though. On the bright side, just keeps making this Group a real struggle which is great for the womens game, on the negative side and its a big negative, Latvia has lost its relegation hopeful. :(

Looks good what the Austrian Ladies have done so far. In the preparation for the tournament AUT played CZE in a friendly, CZE won 5:0 so it looks like the relegated team from last year is the clear favourite for this tourney.

Not relegated team. CZE won this Div. IA tournament last year at home ground in Přerov but lost in JPN at qualification series (1:2). Because top division tournament wasn`t played in olympic year, so Div IA 2013 and 2014 winners played for promotion.

Well 2 out of 3 isnt bad at all for Austria but the early results have really opened the door for the Czechs to easily take home Gold and promotion.

Huge match tonight though on the other end of the table, wouldnt say its a must win for us but we most certainly need to take points off France. Surprised to see the Norwegians down here in the relegation territory but need to stay close to surpass them tomorrow.

Congrats to the Czechs, they finally get to go back to the Elite Division after losing out thanks to the Olympics. They should also probably send a thank you note and some beer to the Austrians for doing a ton of work for them. :D

Its now or never for us in the fight to avoid relegation. We dont need to full 3pts (atleast assuming the French dont win later tonight) but we most certainly need a victory. Anything less than a victory, and its straight back to IB. :(

I am very pleased with it. Back into Elite, the right place for Czech women (based on U18 results). Hope to see Czech team at 2018 Olympics but it won`t be easy. In each case, we have already secured 2nd seed spot in the final qualification tournament.

Thanks for the remark, wasn't aware of these quali games anymore.

*sigh* right back down.......and they didnt even really play poorly.

We need to find some goal scorers, Tētiņa is outstanding but she is getting older and I bet by the time we get goal scorers we lose her and dont find an equal goalkeeper. Guess I can hope we host next year, atleast they are entertaining to watch.

Czechs win all five matches, that will keep the Norwegians away from winning the Bronze giving it to either the French or the Danes. France will need to win the match in regulation in order to capture it will the Danes just need a single point.

French lost out last year to the Danes for Bronze so a great chance for them to get revenge on home ice.

Its one of those few times I think they got the goalkeeping award wrong. No offence to Peslarova but she didnt do very much, Im not impressed by a goalkeeper who can put up good stats when they face less than 15 shots a match. Yes, thats correct, Peslarova never faced more than 15 shots in four meetings, one of those she faced just 5 and still got scored on.

The award should of went to either Baldin or Tētiņa. I guess if Baldin started against the Czechs or today she would of won. Oh well, not that big of a deal, just dont agree.
