I am sure that Serbia without all players from abroad.
I am afraid that Serbia can take just third place and maybe even last on this tournament. A lot of players will not show.

Looking to the rosters, this group is more balanced than the other one. I think that except China, the other three teams have the same chance to win. I even can imagine that only tie braker will decide.

It seems that the games will be repeated randomly. Here you have to schedule:

Much better roster then i expected.....but without these 4 players, first place is not realistic

    Spain to promote

It is not so bad. Lukovic will not be our goalie and our chances for good results dramatically went up

Lack of games and ice-time is the problem for Serbia.
Sretovic and Babic scored one third of Serbias goals at last WC.
Gabric and Ogrizovic have a lot of experience.

At the other hand Crvena Zvezdas suprisingly good start in the Slovenian Championship gives some hope for new players in the NT. I think it might I could call it much needed too.

Great to see Vucurevic in the team.

Spain and Iceland have a lot more games and ice in legs this season then Serbia
First time in long period, Serbia have two good goalies for our level.
No way for Serbia to take first place on this tournament, mainly becouse they are without two good forwards and two good defensmens, and it is too much.

    Expected results from todays games.
Tomorrow Spain will beat Serbia 100%, they are better at this moment.
It is better for all, playing against monstrum teams in next round is not a option. Partizan was aware at CC what is normal and what are wet dreams

I wouldn´t put such bets on Spain. Of course are the Spaniards favourites. They play on home-ice, have propably some better preparations behind them and so on.
But Serbia have some plusses on their account too. They had by far easier game yesterday and a couple of hours more to rest. Thats is at least a small advantage.
There are also some "ifs" that is a must if Serbia should gain a chance to win. It´s simple that both the defence and the attacking players must be on level they had against Iceland. Letting just 4 goals in of som 50 shots is good (and lucky!) defending. Scoring 4 times on some 20 shots is quite efficiant.
I would put maybe 75-25 in advantage for Spain but that could change during the game.

As for further competition for either teams from this group I think it would be a fantastic experience to face such oposition as Italy and the UK. Of course the teams from this group are without chances against such nations but what would the point be to compete without gaining the opurtunity to play against better teams? Or what would the point of having a NT be then?
To me winning this round is almost levelled of winning the DivIIA.

Well done Serbia, came back from an early deficit and held on until the end. Also good show by Spain, they definitely made Serbia work for it. Good for Serbia to be able to play in the next round, will definitely give them a good experience going against those teams.

Happy to see Serbia won the tournament.
Huge congratulation. (even to Komazec :) ).

Somehow I believed that Serbian team is able to take 1st place. As I said at my post (wrongly at other topic), Serbia went with 10 players who played good leagues, who had good seasons before. Of course, the title of the King is going to Arsenije Rankovic, because we usualy suffered with "NO goalie". Sabados probably hold the 3rd line, and also happy to see Novakovic Petar was played in 3rd line, he is good player too.

Next level is so high for this roster. Even with our best 15 we need some help from "emigration" :).
These guys makes us proud and I am thankfull for that.
    Bravo Serbia!
