Better than last year when we played with 10 naturalized players and lost 2:5. Yesterday only two (Brine and Perkovich). At WC only four naturalized players will play (Glumac, Perkovich, Brine and MacAulay).

Can anybody tell me how Livars Lans is eligibe to play for Estonia? He spent all of his seasons in Latvia (or in Latvian club) as I see, even participated in the Universiade in Latvian colours, and became Estonian citizen only in the past days/weeks?
    http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=72731
Also, it's a pity that Missenjov doesn't want to take part in the Estonian team. (If he hopes that he ever became Russian NT player, than he must wait a bit...)

Great boost for the team + domestic crowd gives good platform for the tournament.

Where do you play. Dom Sportova or Arena?

Croatia looks quite good. At least two good goalies (Ruzic is uknown to me). Great to see Rendulic in the team.

Now that's a surprise. He went to San Jose for try-out and confirmed that from next season, he will play for Sharks. But why not here - is a great question. He is the top goalie at this level, and his absence is definietly a huge blow for Lithuania. (Seems good Lithuanian goalies like to abandon the national team - I remember when Aleinikovas skipped most of the WC-s, when he was one of the best goalies of Belarussian league) Other Lithuanian goalies are just not good enough - probably not even to DIV1/B, as the play in a semi-pro league (Lithuania) or in a techically U20-league (Belarus2). The attack line of Lithuania is young. No Tadas Kumeliauskas again - since he plays for TPS, he never took part in World championship.
Guess the "Bronze-series" will end for Lithuania at this year, maximum 4th, but more likely 5th place what I predict for them.

Long time no see my friends ! Im here to bring some of my sports betting knowledge and I will post my predictions every day.

    Todays Games:

    Estonia - Lithuania 2.33 - 4.12 - 2.36 Totals Line 5,5 Goals 1,75 Under 1,99 Over
    Romania - Ukraine 19.88 - 14.24 - 1.02 Totals Line 6,5 Goals 1,85 Under 1,85 Over
    Croatia - Great Britain 4.08 - 4.97 - 1.53 Totals Line 5,5 Goals 1,71 Under 2,02 Over

(Those are the avarege odds for the matches)

    - Estonia - Lithuania is the first match of this tournament and at first glance I was thinking Estonia but then I jumped to Lithuania but I went back to Estonia BECAUSE like "susi" said there is few absentees in Lithuanias team and its easy to say that the biggest loss is the netminder Armalis who was playing SHL league this season.

    - These two teams met few months ago in Olympic Qualifications and Estonia was stronger 4-1 even tho the shots were heavily favor to Lithuania (56-30 if i remember right). Estonias defence was playing fairly well and Lithuania had not too many great scoring chances.

    - Estonia Team news: Jussi Tupamäki told that he thinks the team is better than ever and players shape is very good too. For me I think Estonia is ready to go.

    - My betting tip is a LOW/MED size bet to Estonia to win. Other bets are MED SIZE bet to Romania - Ukraine Under 6,5 goals and Low bet Croatia - Great Britain Over 5,5 Goals.

    Ty and Good Luck !

What's up with Rendulic now? Can't see him in the Official Roster anymore?

Mistake or what happened to him?

last game Estonia held them to 1 goal with over 50 shots faced.

today they concede 4 goals on 9 shots? looks like their defence had an oustanding day last time.

He didn't want to take the risk, you know, possible injury or smth. Club also wanted him to skip this tournament. Big loss for us, but can't blame him for this decision, just wish him luck

I not expected such a huge loss for Estonia - to be honest, I expecetd for them at least one point against Lithuania, but a victory would be also possible. Seems at this tournament will be not simple for them to stay there - last year they were not so outplayed by the othert teams. However, one thing I learned at this year's WChamps' so far: no prediction can be made untill the end. Many great comeback, unexpected victories and losses this year so far.
Seppanen is a great talent - or at least two years ago at Miskolc at the U20-WC he was trully impressive, even he was only 17. If once he can make it to a more serious championship than the Estonian, then he could solve the goalie problemes of Estonia for decades.

It is understandable from a career point of view but it is quite a contrast to that other Baltic man who wore San Jose teal, Arturs Irbe, who did whatever it took to suit up in the national colors whenever possible.

Ukraine gave qute a beating to Romania. It's even funny that some Urainian players are there who plays in the Romanian League (not in the MOL-League teams). Guess Romania will feel the backside of the short preparation. The coaches were appointed a week ago, and due to that, this 22 player were selected already, without any prep' games or a wider try-out.

Yes, big game for both teams GBR keep their promotion hopes alive, whilst CRO probably out of contention now.

Yesterday my picks 0/3 tho totals were 1 goal away both.

Now when I have more knowledgeand data from the team Im more confident in todays picks.

    Matches
    Lithuania - Romania
    Great Britain - Estonia
    Ukraine - Croatia

    Picks:
    Lithuania - Romania UNDER 6.5 GOALS odds 2.15 bet365.com
Great Britain - Estonia UNDER 6.5 GOALS odds 2.10 bet365.com
    Ukraine - Croatia UKRAINE-2.5 odds 1.52 bet365.com

    - Romania was fightning pretty well against TOP SEEDED ukraine, of course they lost 1-6 but still im seeing some hope in Romanias game. Lithuania smashed Estonia in their first game 7-2 but the numbers lie a bit. Estonia made stupid mistakes and their goallie was not playing that great. I think Romania can play tight defence and Lithuania may play little loose at first because they are so confident to win this match. 4-1,5-1 is my prediction. LOW/MED BET UNDER 6.5 GOALS.

    - Great Britain won Croatia 4-1 in their opening, now its little tougher when they meet Estonia. I really hope Estonia is playing better defence after silly Lithuania game. Its little risk here to go over because GB usually takes lots of pebalties so if Estonias pp is better tonight this game might be high scoring. Thats why I recom. LOWBET under 6
    5 goals.

    - Ukraine is top team here and any other result than a victory would be a disaster. I think this is easy win for them even tho play against hard working hosts. 5-1.

    Ty and good luck !

British were dominant throughout the game except for the first five minutes when they played under misguided respect for the opposing team and fans. The moment they realised that Croatian KHL players are completely out of shape and that "Barmy Army" was louder than tenfold opposition, it was all one way game in British favour.

Agree, i think GBR started very nervous, they made some easy mistakes in first few minutes. 1st Period was kinda equal.

From start of 2nd GBR took over, GBR better in every aspect from there, just took to many penalties.
