Great game last night in Pionir

    HKBeograd blanked Ferencvaroši 3:0 (1:0, 0.0, 2:0)

I dont know what kind of tricks coach Jankovic pulled out of his sleeve but his "magic" works just fine

Did you really expect that something serious can happen in Serbian hockey and to last more than 1 year?

All in all, Prez. of Serbian hockey federation killed Partizan and seriously crippled Zvezda just enough to take
    champions trophy for himslef.

p.s. Regarding players transfers, I heard that they were payed miserable to play MOL league last year

We will se. As allways Zvezda have a big plans for next season

I am really interested what will happen if they rename HK Beograd to Partizan because of bigger number of supporters,

Will hockey federation share funds 50/50 to Zvezda and Partizan in SLO and MOL league...or one size will be more equal than the other side

Beograd will probably not take a part in 2017-2018 MOL season.
People who started with this project obviously did not have enough energy/ money/ strategy..

I think it is much better that Partizan (or Zvezda) plays in MOL, it is a brand, well known club with army of supporters. Better for league and Serbian hockey.

It is the rumor from May 15th:

    http://volimpartizan.rs/hokejasi-u-mol-ligi-14608/

"Po kuloarima se može čuti da će Partizan, pojačan sa svojim igračima koji su ovu sezonu proveli u HK Beograd, aplicirati za učešće u MOL ligi.Videćemo, da li će ovaj povoljan razvoj događaja ostati u domenu trača, ili će se ostvariti."

Even if they give Saliji and Despotovic passports apart from Crnogorac, Vučurević, Ogrizović and Filipović I really dont know where they will find at least 5 domestic players to form 3rd line of players.

According to Red Star the team will participate in a newly formed regional League under, as I understood, Slovenian patronate.
Slovenian federation invited all the clubs from Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia.
From Serbia Red Star officially confirmed their participation and it seems that Vojvodina (!) also will participate.
As for Partizan it seems uncertain and even uncertain that they even have a full senior squad at all. HK Beograd seems to be a finished (?) story.
It also seems that Olimpija will not take part in this League.

    Regardless of all my thoughts:

Crvena Zvezda will apply for MOL/Erste League competition in the 2018/19 season. They will have soon 4 imports with right to take Serbian passport (Pasternak, Leonov, Akimov, Buchkin).

    That's my opinion.

I think the only right way for serbian hockey would be if Zvezda tried to join the MOL-league next season. The domestic guys who played with HK Beograd last season in MOL didn't make fools of themselves even though the pre-season was way to weak for that level of competition. Now, when the HK Beograd project seems to be dead, it's good that at least someone bother. However, and with all respect to the slovenian federations for the effort, I personally think that the league in first place would be good for the younger players and for the players who are at level next to the top domestic.

However I feel it is a bit questionable with what Zvezda actually want at the moment. What seemed to be good with signing all the good domestic and NT players and keeping the good foreign ones from last season is now questionable since Zvezda seems to use their participation in the Belarus Russlan cup as a big try-out for more foreign players. A bunch of internationals will join Zvezda at the cup since the clubs own level is to weak for that kind of opposition. Yet the club seems to say that if some of these players shows right quality the door will be open for keeping them. Having in mind that they have some good foreign players already.

The "nightmare" from my point of view, as a hockeyfan who hopes that any participation in the International league is good for developing the domestic hockey, is that Zvezda puts so much effort in winning that league that they are ready to use even more foreign players on behalf of the domestic.
As I said I think that the serbian NT-players would develop more in MOL than in this league. This is yet better than playing only domestic "league". But for the younger players and the ones who are on the level that might catch up with the domestic best this league is really good. However if Zvezda keeps more foreign players it will propably affect the domestic player that gains most of this league.
Now the official goals of the club doesn't say so but I'm really confused about the strategy.
It would be interesting to follow what will happen in the near feature. I would really dislike a club success based on foreign players. That would mean nothing to the domestic hockey.

I'm really happy that Vojvodina joined the league but I really wonder who will play for team? Theres no information from them yet.

BTW, Marko Sretovic signed for Zvezda too.

I think Zvezda contributed quite a lot in killing the HK Beograd project. If I understood it well HK Beograd only leased most of its players from the Serbian clubs, and the original plan was that they will return to their original clubs for the Serbian playoffs. But the federation changed the idea for whatever reason and wanted HKB to play at home as well. Zvezda called back its players from HKB - that's why we saw such strange rosters in the serbian playoffs. After that Zvezda withdrew its support from the project, and decided to go on its own way. HKB left without enough players so its fate was sealed.

To be honest, I have big doubts about how easy it will be for Zvezda or any other serbian clubs to be member of the former MOL Liga (from now on Erste Liga). Honeymoon is over, it would have been much much easier to keep HKB inside than join with an other club after a break of a year or two.

Serbian hockey left a bad message when they took part in the Erste League in just 1 season and left (and plan was a minimum of 3 seasons!?) Problems that happen in Serbian hockey are not interesting for serious Leagues or Federations. They did us a favor, and we didn,t know to appreciate it. For Serbs it is more important thing 1st place in the Serbian league.

We are in Division 2A, our federation still does not have a schedule for Serbian championship, or for example we do not know how many teams will play in the Serbian league? Let's be honest and say that we do not have more than 10 players for Erste level. We want a lot, but we neither have arenas/conditions, nor the players. Erste League needs a strong and serious team, serios people, serious Federation (are we?), and we need naturalized players too.

Playing Slovenia, Panon League, or something else is our reality.

To be honest, I have big doubts about how easy it will be for Zvezda or any other serbian clubs to be member of the former MOL Liga (from now on Erste Liga). Honeymoon is over, it would have been much much easier to keep HKB inside than join with an other club after a break of a year or two.

I dont believe in this Zvezda project. It is just revenge for stupid decision of HK Beograd for playing play off last season. The people from Zvezda and Partizan( HK Beograd) are just crazy and abnormal.
For me, it is best to shut down all ice hockey clubs in Serbian. We dont deserve any good project like MOL league, becouse we are stupid people.
I just hope that Hungarian ice hockey federation will never ever let any Serbian clubs into Hungarian senior league.
A-light-in-the-dark: Sofia Bulgaria, Skopje Macedonia, Sarajevo & Pristina :)
