It means he shook hands with my son at the end of the match. Hopefully they'll meet again in U20 championship in 2018.

Classic hat trick. Three goals in a row and in one period. Wow!

The best player of team Romania was not author of all 4 goals Andrei Vasile or magnificant goale ÷rs Adorjan who made 44 saves! This is joke. Both players had their award earlier, but still...

I know... And the same story is often with the best goalie/defenceman/forward awards. Sometimes when it is too obvious that the best player is above the others, this democracy (?) behaviour looks plain stupid.

On the same breath! Good choice by Team Croatia tonight!

Actually Drax is right. The tournament is in December and boys will not meet this year, but 2018 is still possible!

And the day ended with my kid getting the reward... Nice win over Korea. Boys are happy now.

Back home. It was a special tournament and special in many senses. Also for me as a dad seeing my kid sucseed. Silver was not bad and 3 games 3 wins for Chris. Named best player in one of them and getting tons of praize after the Korean and specially Lithuanian games... It was awesome. Olympic rink and stuff... And remember me posting year ago in front of Valdemoro IIB tournament saying, that with our best we would be competing for Gold in one division higher. And people doubting... We were without 11 guys from our dream team and we got Silver. 9 of the boys have played and 7 started in Tallinn Purikad team (with my son) and I have been carrying that team. I know these boys and they delivered. Pretty happy guy here typing... Cheers!

Congratulations on the medal. It was indeed a very open tournament where several teams could have ended with promotion. Unfortunately, Croatia was relegated. In past tournaments we had goalies that played at division I level (Valenčić had 50 saves against Estonia in Tallinn 2015). This time, our goalies were on the division IIB level and we go there. I don't think we'll be back soon. Both Dutch and Serbs are better than us.
