    I'm looking forward to seeing the two new teams in action, given the conference set up they could do better than expected. I hope Manchester release all players and start again too

    Eihl announces league and cup change


    The Elite Ice Hockey League have announced the changes to the league and Challenge Cup format as a result of the addition to Milton Keynes Lightning and Guildford Flames.

    Changes to the structure were ratified at an EIHL Board Meeting which sees the previous two Conference system of five teams each replaced with three Conferences, containing four teams apiece.

    The Manchester Storm GM let slip at a recent Q&A with fans that the Tillburg Trappers are interested in joining the EIHL. They've been selling season tickets for this season so I'm guessing it would need to be next.
