    Gentlemen, that's how it is:

    Branca 19
    rcv94 14
    Jokos31 14
    ElTres 14
    RexKramer 13
    Acroni 11
    Bennison 11
    Piotrek 6

Great performance by Branca, if Granlundd hadn't left out it would have been a landslide win - FIRST (and only) STAR OF THE DAY.

    Overall standings

    Branca 27
    RexKramer 24
    rcv94 22
    Jokos31 20
    Acroni 19
    Bennison 17
    ElTres 15
    Piotrek 6

Thanks, guess utter lack of luck with Granlund was compensated with luck at guessing results.

It's a fun way to follow WC and thanks for organizing it.

    Results Day 3

    Day 3 scores:

    Bennison 14
    rcv94 9
    Branca 9
    Jokos31 9
    RexKramer 8
    Acroni 7
    ElTres 6
    Piotrek 0

Bennison routes the rest of the contenders, certainly an Aho-effect (ElTres is probably the only one who can laugh about this but nevertheless ;-) and clear choice for the one and only STAR OF THE DAY!

    Overall Standings:

    1. Branca 36
    2. RexKramer 32
    3. rcv94 31
    4. Bennison 31
    5. Jokos31 29
    6. Acroni 26
    7. ElTres 21
    8. Piotrek 6

EDIT: I WAS WRONG!!!! Copy nd paste mistake in my highly elaborated results spreadsheet... SORRY

Bennison 14 Still 1st and only star!
    RexKramer 11
    Branca 11
    rcv94 9
    Jokos31 9
    Acroni 8
    ElTres 7
    Piotrek 0

    Overall Day 3:

    1. Branca 38
    2. RexKramer 35
    3. rcv94 31
    4. Bennison 31
    5. Jokos31 29

    Day 4 Results
    Acroni 11
    RexKramer 10
    rcv94 10
    Bennison 9
    Piotrek 9
    Jokos31 6
    ElTres 6
    Branca 4

Acroni leads a tight pack into the finish (1st star). A day with top teams playing lesser ones, so there's not much to win but still something to lose when you're too creative.

    Overall standings

    1. RexKramer 45
    2. Branca 42
    3. rcv94 41
    4. Bennison 40
    5. Acroni 38
    6. Jokos31 35

    Day 5 Results

    ElTres 8
    rcv94 7

The Aho Effect was on halt this day. Finance ppl would say the trend's your friend...until it bends :D
Remark: Concerning picking a goalie as player, I think it is ok to allow to just write "goalie Team X" and not the name. Other than with skaters it is tough to find out which goalie actually gets to play a certain game beforehand.

    Overall Standings

    1. RexKramer 60
    2. Acroni 51
    3. rcv94 48

Despite the Danes upsetting Finland (none of us saw that coming) a strong overall performance of the field. The Rakell effect replaces the Aho effect.

Gentlemen (sorry Ladies if there's any), it was a pleasure. After Austria failed to get relegated this victory shows our hockey is on the rise . I hope I didn't screw anything up in calculating the points - if I did it was not on purpose (only subliminal). Pls everyone stay faithful to IHF, I know we are not exactly vibant anymore but it's a cool place that deserves to stay alive and not join the great data beyond. Pls post on your favourite hockey topics here and be back for IHW 2019!!!
