Australian Women's Ice Hockey League: 2018-19

The 2018-19 AWIHL season gets underway today. During the off-season the league expanded to five teams, adding the Perth Inferno. The league has also changed their game length to a full 60 minutes, previously playing a 54 minute game. Regular season will run from 27 October to 24 February and the playoffs are on 9 and 10 March.

    Things of note:
    - The Perth Inferno logo is pretty much a copy of the Calgary Inferno logo. Caused a bit of discussion as to whether they had permission from Calgary. See it on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/perthinferno/
    - The whole season is being live streamed via YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDs...wvwURXcUnZlPBQ
