    Khl 2019/20

Hi all, to get us started in preparation for this upcoming KHL season, I thought I'd kick things off by creating the thread. Right now, the biggest news is that Slovan will not be participating in the league due to finances. Here's the official statement courtesy of their Twitter:

I used to be very enthusiastic about the KHL and the idea of a pan-european league. I still hope for the latter one day, but it is clear now, that it will not happen with the KHL. Kind of sad to see that a traditional club like Slovan is now in big trouble because of their "Russian adventure". I hope that at least Jokerit can either be successful in the KHL or find a way out before it is too late.

yes big debts but still have big Russian pockets to keep them debts paid. The word is they lose around €10m each season isn't it?
