Do any of our Czech members know when the tickets for the Česká pojišťovna Cup are likely to go on sale? Got the flights and the accommodation booked. Just need to make sure I get to see the games... :D

Dunno if this site is already known, but seems to offer a good coverage of EHT (also in english)

Are the games of Ceska Pojistovna cup usually sold-out and should I buy the tickets in advance from Ticketpro's online store? We are in Prague in Aug 26 and there are sales offices around the city, but is that too late to get tickets?

Finland is trying a lot of new players in the Czech tournament. If I remember correctly 14 of those players haven't got any national team experience in adult games. Another unusual thing about this team is that it is constructed solely on SM-Liiga players (Sweden and Russia also used only domestic league players).Originally Posted by pihinalle
Anyway, for anyone who gets to see Finland play in this tournament I'll give two guys to watch.
For those who like physical plays: Sami Helenius (D) no forwards better come to the Finnish goal while Sami is on the ice. :018:
For finesse fans: Juhamatti Aaltonen (F) with his stick handling, you'd think he is Russian! :hockey1:

And what about the terms of the tournament? :scratchhe Why it is so early? Many of the players have just returned from summer vacation and were not in the best conditions...
Maxim Sushinsky (SKA, St. etersburg) is the Captain of the Russian team that plays now with Sweden...
All players of our team have voted for the new Captain (SUshinsky and Alexei Morozov have 12 votes :smart: ). So, Max is the leader of the team, Alexei Morozov (AK Bars) and Evgeny Varlamov (Metallurg, Magnitogorsk) assist.
