Skautafelag Reykjavikur playd against Björninn last wednesday and the game went 9-8 for S.R. so Björninn has now no chance to go to finals. Yesterday Skautafelag Akureyrar playd against Björninn and won 10-3. Two games are left in the season between S.R. and S.A. wich will determ who will start the first 2 games at home in the finals.

not decided yet. Two games still outstanding (2 x Akureyri vs Reykjavik), and then the playoffs. Actual, the National Teams played at Seoul, Worldchampionship.

well, that's Iceland.... they do not need to hurry with the national championship. Who's (except me!!!!) is realy interested on this, outside Iceland??

last two games between AKU and REY will played on 13.04. and 14.04. both at Akureyri.

    Playoff Schedule is as follows:

    17.04. REY vs AKU
    19.04. AKU vs REY
    21.04. REY vs AKU
    23.04. AKU vs REY
    25.04. REY vs AKU

So, both teams will meet each other maybe seven (!!!) times within 12 days.... And don't forgett. From Akureyri to Reykjavik they're approx 400 kms distance.... what mean's six hours to drive.... each way..... it's along the coast via Borgarnes, Laugarbakki and Varmahlíð. Oh, I LOVE ICELAND!!!!!! Afram Island!!!!!

Aldair, your post from 06.03.2007 (post no. 74693) is not correct, Table except the two outsanding games is as follows:

    Place Team Games W/OTW T OTL/L Goals + Goals - Points Goals +/-
    3 points / 2 points 1 point / 0 points
    1. Skautafelag Reykjavikur 16 0
    2. Skautafelag Akureyrar 16 0
    3. Isknattleiksfelag Björninn 16 5/0 0 1/10 70 89 16 19 -
Actual, it could be, that the goals each team are wrong (as usual....) I will calculate this later....
    Cheers, Franco

I think most members on this forum is interested in a lot off strange leagues, fore me the Icelandic one is on off mine. Keep up the good work, a lot off people appreciate it.
And while I have already wrote something on this part of the forum, I can ask a question as well.

Why is there so many Swedes on the Icelandic NT? Is there a icelandic guy in the LHC-board?

    Hi Viktor,

it was just a joke from me.... I do love Iceland and the people. Since I was the first time in Iceland six years ago, I was another four times there.... last time, last year at the Worldchampionship in Reykjavik. And - of course - I cheered for Iceland.

Iceland is still one on the most impressing place around the world for me.

And - yes, definitelly - they do good, very good work in Iceland. Not realy easy for such a small countrie. I'm every year again suprised, when I see, that the play better and better. Of course, they've not the strongness of Switzerland, but they have not be "like Switzerland". The Iceland National League is every year a "highlight" for me. Only bad, that Narfa retired for this season (because, they have not enough players).

    Afram Island!!!
    Cheers, Franco
