    Ro Herregraven,

    IJshockeyboek Nederland - Udo Reinold

Does this book provide Stats for other years in the 1960's and 70's ?
If so I would be very interested.

It does, it lists the top ten for each season in exactly the same way as I posted above, from 1969-1970 to 1997-1998.

The book covers 1964 to 1998, although Udo Reinold has published two supplements to date. The entire book is in dutch, but each season is covered with a matrix containing all game results, a table containing final standings, a roster of the championship team (no stats), attendancy records and as mentioned a top 10 goalscorers of the competition.

With regards to the stats: Sometimes, the cup competition and championship are split out. Sometimes they are together. Sometimes, the playoffs are added. So consistency isn't always there, but then again, was there ever in Dutch hockey? So Udo Reinold cannot be blamed for this, in my opinion.

    Dr. Pablo Ramirez,
    http://www.tysctrappers.nl/

Thanks I have been on this site many times.I wish all teams had a site like this.

    Ro Herregraven,

Do you think when you have time you could post some more of the years top 10 scorers.Any of the years here would be great 1969-1970 to 1978-1979.I'm sure the book is great but I really only have interest in stats and can only understand English.

    No problem, here we go:

    1969-70:
    NameTeamGPGAP
    Jerry Maas / Jaroslav Tuma Tilburg 6 13 11 24
    George Peeters / Jiri Petrnousek Tilburg 5 4 13 17
    Gary McQuaid Den Haag 6 8 6 14
Werner van den Bosch Den Bosch 6 7 7 14
    Grant Hagerman Den Bosch 6 7 6 13
    Dave Gilhen Geleen 6 8 3 11
    Joe Simons Tilburg 5 7 4 11
    Randy Binnie Den Haag 5 7 4 11
    Bob Jastremski Den Bosch 5 6 5 11
    Vaclav "Wenzel" Tuma Tilburg 3 3 6 9

There only was a four-team championship round that season. Note that many teams also took part in the Coupe International, with other western european teams. Stats of the Coupe International are not listed. "Maas" and "Peeters" were czechoslovak refugees, they played under false aliases. I added their real names. I am quite certain that "Werner van den Bosch" also was a fake name for a czechoslovak refugee, but I do not know his real name.

Other notable czech refugees playing in The Netherlands during that time:
Jerry Vos, real name Mirek Vosatko.
Viktor Golhem, real name Jiri Anton.
George Boley, real name George Bolyhovsky.

Would you possibly have any players statistics for these championship teams?

I think I found the goalie for Hasle Loren 1971/72-Oystein Mellerud.

Can anyone verify if I am correct.
