Ulrich (40) has made 228 games for the Austrian national team and participated in 17 world championship tournaments and 3 Olympic games scoring a total of 15 goals. He made his national team debut 1989 when Austria beat the GDR in East-Berlin in the very last game the selection of Eastern Germany played. Ulrich spent much of his career in Germany where he celebrated 2 championships with Adler Mannheim (1997, 1998). In Austria he added 2 more titles with Red Bull Salzburg (2007, 2008). His last season of Ulrich spent in the Austrian second tier with Zell am See.
Ulrich will stay involved in hockey working as a mental coach and also taking over coaching duties of the U18 national team. |
